Value Proposition
There's a venture to partner with KARANSO's Women Economic Resource Center (WERC), an incubator that promotes women's economic growth by coupling relevant workforce and entrepreneurial training with strategic private sector partners and investors to build out our portfolio.
Equip our Kitchen Adequately to Support Increased Production —we currently have a used convection oven and have placed a deposit on a commercial rotary oven, spiral mixer, dough sheeter, and 2 coolers—all required for smooth operations.
Inventory Management to give us a 12-month runway, at which time we'd be able to generate positive income.
Proactively Purchase and build out a more permanent space taking unique needs into account in order to optimize workflow.
Beyond the tremendous impact this investment will make and the trickle down effect of promoting economic growth for women and within communities, it promises great returns that are above the national average and provides an early exit option within 36 months.
Women of color, especially, from Sub-Saharan Africa, have historically been radical innovators, yet our contributions, perspectives, and needs continue to be suppressed, undermined, and overlooked. This ecosystem of empowering women-led ventures and innovative social enterprises address those “bread and butter” issues important to [our] universal prosperity. For us, this equates to a diverse, socially responsible portfolio that promotes:
Remove some of the systemic barriers and key challenges for [women] entrepreneurs doing business across Africa—poor infrastructure and governance.
Especially those that extend reproductive and mental health services to women that are harder to reach.
Investing in adequate and affordable real estate developments; and food security to improve the agriculture value chain for women and their children.
